Do you give scholarships for midwifery training?

No. We understand that one of the crucial ways to increase access to the midwifery model of care is to increase the number of midwives providing such care. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have the resources to support the education of our future midwives. We expect to expand our giving to include education funds as our resources increase.

What is the midwifery model of care?

The midwifery model of care is more than simply care provided by midwives. The model of care is the way most midwives support and care for women, babies, families—a model of care which all maternity care providers would do well to aspire to in the best interests of those they provide care for.
