Ways to Give

The Foundation for the Advancement of Midwifery (FAM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible.

We need your help—the requests we receive for funding far exceed our current resources. 

Your contribution to FAM makes it possible for us to work together to make midwifery care more available to families.  With your support we can accomplish this by funding programs which

  • educate the public and policymakers regarding the midwifery model of care,
  • promote research and analysis of the midwifery model of care,
  • increase women's access to midwifery care, and
  • strengthen organizations already working to accomplish needed changes in maternity care through midwifery. 

But we rely on your generosity. With your ongoing support, we are making a difference!

United Way

Some local chapters of the United Way allow you to designate which organization will receive your United Way donations. You may be able to donate to us this way even if we are not listed as a participating organization. Contact your employer or your local United Way to find out how. You may need the Foundation's EIN number to donate; it is 06-1579001.

PayPal

You may make a donation to the Foundation for the Advancement of Midwifery using PayPal by clicking the "Make a Donation" button below.
